FPJ passed away at around 12 midnight Dec. 13, 2004. Already opposition stalwarts are falling over themselves to whip up support for their cause. Talk is rife about FPJ’s widow, Susan Roces, to take up the leadership cudgels of Da King. Political has-been Ed Angara, when interviewed, couldn’t even contain the excitement in his voice at the prospects now dancing in his brain.
Santa Santita anunsyo de Santa Barbara! I knew it! Can we sink any lower in our political depravity?
Let the family grieve first! Let the nation mourn before you turn an admired man’s death into a circus!
Make Susan Roces the opposition leader? On what grounds? How obvious is the opposition’s manipulation of people and events surrounding this tragedy. Again we see the ugly head of political thought that Filipinos are stupid.
Shame on those who would use the death of Fernando Poe, Jr. for their own selfish gain!
